Lawn and Garden:

Operate various pieces of equipment to produce lawn and garden products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

·         Run some of the department’s products including understanding material and machine requirements.

·         Perform simple problem solving including ability to clear routine machine jams; identify and fix routine/repetitive problems, notify appropriate support person if unable to resolve problem.

·         Perform visual and simple mechanical quality inspection of products being produced.

·         Perform routine maintenance as directed (may include lubricate, adjustments, inspection, etc.)

·         Perform routine set-ups involving one-to-three inter-dependent variables in a timely fashion.

·         Maintains a clean and organized work area.

·         Regularly perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a normal pace; occasionally perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a rapid pace.

·         Demonstrate the understanding of the material and machine requirements to be able to produce at productivity rates consistently at 95% or higher.

·         Ability to regularly perform job duties in assembly area, while routinely being supervised; occasionally with assistance of others in order to accomplish tasks.

·         Ability to tend presses in the press department when required, while routinely being supervised; occasionally with assistance of others in order to accomplish tasks.

·         Ability to tend wood processing equipment in the wood department when required, while routinely being supervised; occasionally with assistance of others in order to accomplish tasks.

·         Follow the required standard work and achieve the published standard work goals.

·         Perform other duties, as requested/required during machine down-time.

·         Initiates and participates in continuous improvement through cost savings, gainsharing and kaizen or other related activities.

·         Work/communicates in a professional manner with all business associates.

·         Follow all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

·         Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, housekeeping, reporting labor & production, continuous improvement activities, etc.)

Plastics Department:

Operate injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment to form parts used in production of lawn and garden products by performing the following duties:

• Run / assemble some of the department’s products, including understanding material and machine requirements.
• Regularly perform primarily pre-scheduled job duties at a rapid pace.
• Ability to regularly perform job duties in conjunction with others in assembly area, while routinely being closely supervised.
• Perform simple problem solving including ability to clear routine machine jams; identify and fix routine / repetitive problems; notify appropriate support person if unable to resolve problem themselves.
• Perform visual and simple mechanical quality inspection of products being produced.
• Perform routine maintenance as directed. (May include lubrication, adjustments, inspection, etc.)
• Ability to be flexible to perform other duties, as requested / required during machine down-time.
• Other duties within department as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, housekeeping, reporting labor and production, continuous improvement activities, etc.)
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Staffing agency looking for a sales representative to obtain new clients and maintain current client relationships by developing new opportunities. Applicant must possess a h.s. diploma/ged and at least 2 years of outside sales experience. Must have own transportation. Must have a flexible schedule as some events may be outside of normal business hours.
